Plain terms for a small business. Brassmark is a sole operation run by Karol Bisaga in Long Beach, California. Buying anything here means you accept what is on this page.

The licence you are buying

You are buying a personal, perpetual licence to use the app you paid for. Perpetual means it does not expire and there is no subscription. Install it on the computers you personally use.

Your licence key is personal to you. Please do not publish it, resell it, or share it around a class. Keys that turn up in public get revoked, and that is the only circumstance in which I will switch one off.

You do not own the software itself, and this is not an open source licence. Do not decompile it, resell it, or ship it inside something else. The decks you make with it are entirely yours, and I claim nothing over your cards or your source material.

Paying for AI usage

The app purchase and the AI usage are separate things. Generating cards costs real money each time it runs, because a frontier model is reading your pages to do it.

Generations are paid from a prepaid AI Tokens balance inside the app; there is no API key to get and no Google account to set up. You will always see an estimated cost before a run starts, a live meter while it runs, and you can set a cap that stops the run rather than overspending.

AI Tokens are sold as a $10 pack, and $10 lands as $9.00 of AI budget in the app; the ten percent is my cut. They are prepaid, they never auto-renew, and they have no cash value and no transferability. Nothing on this page obliges you to move to them.

AI costs are set by the model provider, not by me. If those prices move, what a run costs moves with them. I will say so on this site when it happens rather than changing it quietly.

Refunds

If the app does not work for you, email me within 14 days of buying it and I will refund it. You do not need to argue your case. I would rather return your money than have you stuck with something that does not fit.

Unspent tokens are refundable within 14 days on the same terms. Tokens already spent are not, because the AI work was bought and paid for on your behalf.

Whop is the merchant of record for every sale and processes the refund. Email me, or use the receipt Whop sends you, and either route reaches the same place.

What it does and does not promise

This software generates study material with an AI model, and AI models make mistakes. Every card is pinned to the page it came from precisely so that you can check it, and checking it is your job. Do not treat a generated card as verified fact until you have looked at the source.

Nothing produced here is medical advice, and none of it is a substitute for clinical judgement, your institution's protocols, or current guidelines. You are responsible for the material you study and for what you do with it in front of a patient.

You need to legally possess the books and documents you feed into it. Do not use this to redistribute copyrighted material. What you upload is your responsibility.

The software is provided as is. Beyond the refund above, my liability is limited to what you paid me.

Availability

I am one physician who also has a residency, so support is best effort and email only. I aim to answer within a few days. Credit purchasing depends on services I do not run, and those can go down. The app itself keeps working on your machine regardless, and so do the decks you have already built.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, the date below changes and the substance of what changed goes on this page. A change never applies retroactively to a purchase you already made.
