Other flashcard generators use the cheapest tool for the job, or worse, they don't transparently tell you which model they use. As physicians, we consider human life of the highest value - correspondingly, I decided to have Engram V always use the best model available, currently Gemini 3.1 Pro.

Medical knowledge isn't always relevant to your role. A first year medical student needs to know about the definition of diabetes mellitus - a third year internal medicine resident doesn't. After AI processes your cards, it attaches a depth of knowledge level to each card, ranking from MS1 all the way to seasoned specialist; merely slide the slider in the Anki Add-on to sort out the irrelevant information.

It reads page by page and writes cloze and image occlusion cards, each one tagged with its page. The cost ticks up in front of you and stops dead at the cap you set. If it crashes, the work already paid for is still on disk.

Go through the audit view against your source, keep what is right, reject the rest, and send the deck straight into Anki. It is a real .apkg, so it is yours forever. Other Anki users who use your deck can see that it was audited with Engram V with a green ribbon on the top right corner.
